New York Coffee Shops & Bagels is much more than the Empire State Building and yellow taxis. After a busy day exploring the city, treat yourself to the famous New York bagel bun. There are hundreds of beautiful places where you can have a cup of coffee and order a delicious bagel. Top 5 of my favorite places:
1. Ess-A-Bagel
Experience the great Ess-A-Bagel. Here they prepare delicious fresh bagel rolls, huge salads, different types of fish, and much more. This place has become popular because it sells a vast selection of fillers. In other areas, the option is quite limited. Be sure to try the curry chicken salad, a delicious dish with soft pieces of chicken. Here is a wide selection of vegetarian tofu cheeses and, of course, different types of bagels. Ess-A-Bagel has enough space for a comfortable meal, but keep in mind that during the lunch break, it is quite crowded.
2. The Gray Dog
The Gray Dog is located in several places in New York. An institution in the Soho quarter is the most suitable place to relax after a tiring shopping experience. Here you can have a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In anticipation of a table, get acquainted with the restaurant’s menu, which is located above the bar. Here is a huge assortment of coffee and bagel. Prices are a bit overpriced but expect large portions. Be sure to order homemade fried potatoes for lunch or dinner.
The atmosphere here is very relaxed. Each of the establishments has interesting visitors and good music.
3. Irving Farm
This place is one of the most comfortable in New York. The atmosphere is magical. The waiters are very helpful and attentive. High level of service and excellent service. There is a lot of space on the lower and upper floors and free internet. Order from a huge assortment of coffee from Irving Farm. It is also worth trying freshly-baked muffins, brownies, and chocolate croissants (I advise). Snack on delicious sandwiches or bagels during the day. In the evening, you can drink a glass of delicious wine and enjoy various types of cheeses.
4. Mudspot Coffee Shop
The Mudspot coffee house brews delicious and strong coffee. Great for a city that never sleeps. Order traditional Mud coffee or delicious Mud Mocha. For those who generally prefer decaffeinated drinks, order Almond Latte or Mint Mochaccino. Here you can have a delightful breakfast or lunch. Most of the food in this establishment is traditional South American. On the window near the bar, select dessert. In summer, a cozy garden is open here.
5. Murray’s Bagel Bar
The only drawback of Murray’s Bagels is that there is very little space. But here is an excellent choice of bagels, you do not even need fillers. Try the famous ‘everything backed’ with poppy seeds, onions, and garlic. In addition to the classic bagels, you can order different fillings here: soft cheese, different varieties of salads, and incredible salmon. If it’s hard for you to make a choice, try one of the pre-made ‘specialty bagels,’ which includes turkey, cheese, cabbage, and sauce. Murray makes a delicious cappuccino.
